First dive of the new year in the Yellow Breeches. One of the few local spots that weren't frozen. Outside temp was 22' and the water temp was 35'. We took a zodiac a few miles down the creek to a promising hole. We hit the water about 4 pm and ice had already coated the boat and gear. We did one short dive and recovered and old lever action .308 and a double barrel shotgun from the 1890's. We were all excited enough to disregard the cold weather and water.
Thanks to Tyler and Denny for taking the first MXS trip of 2015. We look forward to seeing you again.
